Meet The Candidate
Faith. Freedom. Community.
My name is Elijah Joshua Williams, and I am running for Ohio House of Representative because I believe leadership should be rooted in faith, accountability, and service to the people.
I believe the Bible teaches us to serve others with integrity, to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly (Micah 6:8). Those principles guide my life, my work, and my vision for public service. Faith is not about forcing beliefs—it’s about living out values that strengthen families, uplift communities, and respect the dignity of every individual.
As a Libertarian, I believe in:
Individual freedom and personal responsibility
Limited, accountable government
Strong local communities over top-down control
Protecting civil liberties and constitutional rights
Economic opportunity created by people, not politicians
I believe the best decisions are made closest to the people, not in distant government offices. Communities thrive when individuals, families, churches, and local organizations are empowered—not overregulated.
This campaign is about being A.I.M. — Active In My Community. It’s about showing up, listening, and serving with consistency and faith. I am running to represent the people with honesty, courage, and accountability—answering first to God, then to the community.
Together, we can build a future that values faith without coercion, freedom with responsibility, and justice rooted in truth.
